Respected Executive Will Guide Company’s Enhancement, Further Development of Airborne Wireless Services
AT MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS AMERICAS, SAN FRANCISCO & CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Dave McCarley, a respected, senior technology executive with extensive experience in the wireless industry, has joined the Board of Advisors of American Aerospace Technologies Inc. and has been named Senior Technical Advisor. McCarley will assist American Aerospace as it develops next generation airborne enterprise systems that enable data and imagery collection as well as airborne wireless services aboard manned and unmanned aircraft.
American Aerospace is a leader in airborne enterprise systems and serves public safety, oil and gas, telecomm and other markets. Its services include InstiMaps™, an advanced, proprietary mapping, sensor and imagery data collection and distribution system. The company has also partnered in development and first successful demonstration of the nation’s the first commercial long range drone-based “flying cell site”, which can provide wireless 4G LTE connectivity to devices on the ground in communications-denied environments. McCarley has been Chief Operating Officer of Adaptive 3D Technologies of Dallas, TX since 2016. Previously, he was a senior technology and network executive for one of the world’s leading wireless providers. His areas of responsibility included complete network and device quality control, including CDMA networks, 4GLTE, pre- launch 5G and Airborne LTE Operations, and development and first-time launches of original, iconic smartphone devices. “Dave is a respected senior wireless executive. He will be a most valued partner in assisting American Aerospace its continuing development and enhancement of the capabilities and reliability of flying cell sites and airborne wireless communications,” said American Aerospace founder and CEO David Yoel. “My focus,” McCarley said, “will be to assist David and his team in further enabling performance and reliability of airborne LTE systems.”
In addition to 23 years in the wireless industry, McCarley, a veteran of the United States Army, rising from enlisted forward observer to Major in the Army Signal Corps at peacetime and combat duty stations. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy with a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering.
